# Urgent Improvements - Implementation Summary

### 1. Enhanced Error Handling
|

#### API Service
|
|
- Enhanced `handleError` method with specific error messages based on HTTP status codes
|
|
- 400: "Invalid request data"
|
|
- 401: "Unauthorized - please log in"
|
|
- 403: "You don't have permission to perform this action"
|
|
- 404: "Resource not found"
|
|
- 409: "Conflict - resource already exists"
|
|
- 422: "Validation failed"

- `validateArrayNotEmpty()` - ensures arrays have at least one element

### 4. Enhanced Confirmation Dialogs
|
|

#### Improvements:

- **Category Deletion:**
|
|
- Shows count of subcategories that will be deleted
|
|
- Different messages for categories with/without children
|
|
- Example: "This will also delete 3 subcategory(ies) and all their items"
|
|
|
|
- **Subcategory Deletion:**
|
|
- Shows nested subcategory count
|
|
- Shows if items exist
|
|
- Warns about cascade deletion
|
|
- Example: "This will also delete 2 nested subcategory(ies) and all items."
|
|
|
|
- **All confirmations now include:**
|
|
- Clear warning: "This action cannot be undone."
|
|
- `dangerous: true` flag for visual distinction
|
|
|
|
